Owen F1 Spec turbo

Helping a frends regarding this turbo. He just got it change on his X which only saw a 30bhp add frm his stock x turbo.
detail was given to him was it a owen f1 spec formula bearing 25g.
He worry he might get cheap by his garage..

Unless it was something custom I don't see anything listed on Owen's website.

30 whp is pretty weak sauce. I've never heard of it before.

There is more to making power than bolting on a big turbo. Make sure you have all of the supporting mods to let an aftermarket turbo be the best it can be!

he running on blitz cam on his evo x... he too nt sure if the turbo really genius items since he buy over frm a guy.

Ok guys..manage to chat with the owner..
everythings was in stock internal..only that he upgrade to blitz cams & the owen turbo.

Now he ask was type ems will go great with evo x.. he looking for aem but i guess they nt just lauch for evo x... he planing to go motec?

any advice?

Stock ECU will bring you as far as you could ever wish to go with an 8/9 or 10. He could spend that money elsewhere and get way for bang for his buck. Have your friend join this forum and start leaning about his car.
