Sound will get deeper and louder with the more of the stock exhaust piping that you remove.

Brand name is really more about name than performance. I would personally go with the Buschur catback only because it has 2.5" piping straight back and that can lead to bigger gains. The JIC-Magic catback like I have is also 2.5" but the price is steep to say the very least. I believe both the Greddy and DC Sports catbacks are 2.25". So in the end you're looking at more of a price comparison than a performance comparison and honestly, Buschur's setup has the best of both worlds.

Even with a turbo a 2.5" is too big, unless your going for an all out drag car. The 2.25" is perfect for our cars even with like 10psi of boost. Magnaflow catbacks are 2.25 and $400 and Greddy"s are 2.25 and $500.

I agree. 2.25 is plenty, unless you're looking for good power above 80 mph (if you spend all your time hauling @$$ on the highway). I am leaning towards a custom 2.25 or even just a 2.0 for my na setup. But a catback will sound deeper than a muffler alone (not necessarily louder, but deeper for sure)

negative --- 2.5 is fine w/ a turbo... your gonna gain a few horsies too... I have the greddy 2.25 but.. its free flowing my shorty test pipe... doesnt sound like a ricer at all.. sounds so god damn sweet im gonna record that sound and put it on a cd and just play it in my beater for the winter

First off, if you look at the muffler you have no flange at the end of it, meaning it has to be welded on. Thats not going to get you any gains either, might as well get on the Group buy they have in for sale/ wanted forum, they are getting the full cat-back system from magnaflow for around 330 which is an amazing price, I perfer greddy because i like the bigger muffler and 4"tip but its def. more wise to get a cat back system instead of just a muffler, plus i sell testpipes for 45$ hehehe which help even more..
