Forget the little bolt ons, just save for turbo or supercharger. You'll be very happy that you did.

I have a question why the oz, the thing is all the guys here are telling you to turbo the thing and supercharge it, well the motor is not built for it and if you were to add the turbo or install a supercharger, theres alot of other things u have to install and reinforce, so the motor wont blow up on u, my question is why did u want the oz to make fast, why not start with a better platform, I hope its not confusing, but spending money trying to make a car fast, and then having all these worries about it breaking or dumping more money in to prevent it from breaking, why not buy a car bulit for tunning and make fast products.

^maybe he didn't have the money?

Anyway pmpn, I would recomend a turbo setup only because the road race kit is tried and true. Like Fast8 said the motor has some week spots (pistons and rods) so I wouldn't force any air into that engine without replacing that stuff first. Get ready to spend a crap-load of cash!!!

If he doesnt have the money why is he thinking about getting things to make if fast and wanting to know what sites, I personally would say what ever u put on u better be able to take off incase something goes wrong and u need the dealer to look at it, just dont mess with the warranty thats all i am saying and if u do, and dont cares just make sure all the parts u get are quality parts and tested, there has to be tons of people here with turbo lancers, do a search and find out what they did

well first off, i dont know about you, but there is a huge difference in my eyes with a 300 dollar a month car payment, then a 500 dollar a month car payment. also not to mention the insurance rates on evo's are ridiculous. so in my opinion why not get the OZ, then add mods. i almost want to get a supercharger, just to be different then everyone else, but im going to investigate it a little more, then decide.

Thats a great point what car are u talking about $500 a month, I didnt say anything about spending $500 a month on a car, there are tons of cars out there that are around three or less, that have a greater potential, and insuarnce rates on what what car are u talking about, and if you are referring to my evo and assuming that was what i recommend u to get, well its not $500 a month and the insurance rates its pretty good, I guess it also depends on ur age and what interest rates u can get.

Right now Blazenoz is the only one with the SC and mine is still being manufactured. I personally saw his setup and liked it, so I went with it. RIPP mods sells it and the production run should be just about finished. The only issue is that it has only been tested by one, but it was boosted at 7 psi for 3000 miles and is now at 10 psi with no problems on stock internals. On the other hand RRM's turbo has been around for some time now and has been proven to be very reliable up to 8 or 9 psi on stock internals. Main problem with our motor is that it has weak ring lands on the pistons. The rods have seen 12-13 psi with no problems and that turns out to be about 250 HP at the wheels, not bad for something that has about 100 HP at the wheels to start with. Either way have fun with it and don't listen to all the haters.
