Without going to join the debate team, point is this guy asked a question about cheap power mods not expensive ones.
Hencerules out turbo or expensive RPW **** like quad throttle body etc... That is all.

His original question was what's the easiest way to make the OZ fast. He also said he was in no position to buy a turbo kit now. Well, nobody said his car had to be fast now. Hardly anyone has had several grand to dump on their turbo kit right off the bat. Presumably if they had that much extra money they'd have bought a different car, but regardless we all saved to get our kits or turbo setups, and if he wants comparable results he will (barring a miraculous invention) have to do the same.
The answer was given.
To summarize: No such thing as a cheap, big HP gain for the lancer exists. Fork the dough or remain slow. (relatively speaking of course)

I agree with Hobie, the only way to make this car fast isnt cheap.

alright, alright. But just to get the info out there, VisionImports sells the current gen of the TWIN TBs (not quad) For $750. Quad runs about $2k and then you need other stuff. There's supposed to be a twin TB that uses the stock MAS coming, but that's been "almost done" since May, and they stopped work to produce their brake upgrade systems.
What about the RIPP Supercharger? I stopped following the thread a while ago, but the initial results looked promising and not any more expensive than the turbo kits. Are they having problems? (Sorry Andrew, I know you love OT )
