Wanted to say hello and wanted to get my post count up since I need to utilize the marketplace for my new Evo.

I just picked up an Alpine Silver Evo VIII for use as a daily driver. The car has an Evo IX front bumper and the Evo IX all black suede Recaro interior. The car is missing a few interior trim pieces that I need to try and locate. I am also planning to run the car at some auto-x events. Hoping to stay in B-stock, so I will be upgrading the front sway bar, springs, struts, brake pads, and tires. The only mods on the car are an Apex'i exhaust and an HKS SSQV BOV. This is my second Evo, I had an 03 WW Evo back in 2005. My current toy car is my C6Z which I had been using as a daily driver and 10 sec weekend toy, but now, I want to go a bit faster with my Z, so I needed something else to drive around.

Hopefully the Evo will work out well for me. Looking forward to blowing money on 2 cars now instead of just one. Cheers.

It may be awhile before you reach the 50 post mark. not all posts count towards it. An option would be to pm the seller if you are interested in purchasing. Although since you don't have any prior transaction rating, they may or may not sell to you. I'm kinda in the same boat as you are. I'm eager to sell some things but I'm going take it slow, get to know the locals and learn more about my car. People can tell when you are just post whoring to reach that point. Happens all the time.

Good info. Welcome to the site too and hope you enjoy your Evo. I just picked mine up a few weeks ago and coming from a NA car, it's nice to have boost.

 

Welcome!!...do some research about what parts would be best for your intentions with the Evo and we can all help if any questions come up. Also, post some photos!!!
