Evo still ok?
Evo still ok?
Based on the picture does this evo still look ok?
I'm no body expert, but I'm going to get it inspected professionally.
Or should I pass on it? Professional advice and comments please!

This picture does not help at all. Check to see if it was ever put on a frame machine and pulled. Check frame rails under the car for this. I would also suggest for more detailed pics as well as more info like if it runs and drives etc...Good luck!
Ok here's my disclaimer... I'm new to Evo's and know virtually nothing about them. That being said, I can still help you out if you're willing to listen. Arrange to take the car to someone who can put it on a lift for you. Get underneath is with a flashlight and inspect every nook and cranny you can find along the unibody?? -Uhh, I believe this car is a unibody. Pay close attention to any abnormal creasing you find along what should've been straight rails (not really "frame rails" but you know what I mean. Closely inspect the engine bay and supports for signs of previous damage. While you're at it, pull some of the weatherstripping along the doors to check the pinch welds or to look for signs of repair. The bottom line is this: If you can't find signs of the repair, then check again (it helps if the seller lets you know where it was wrecked.) Once you do locate the repair area, decide whether or not this could have effects on the driveability or handling of the vehicle. I've got no problems with buying something with a salvage title, but if the seller won't let me take it to my mechanic, then IMHO - he's got somthing to hide. I cannot stess this enough - if you do not find anything, then keep looking. Once you find the damage, then you'll be able to make a well informed decision about whether the damage is tolerable by your standards.... whatever they may be. Good luck.
Wow thanks, I'm going to do that! First with the mechanical which is going to be done for free.
Then I found a shop that will do the complete frame for 85 to 120. Measurements and all if anything looks suspicious.

Actually, you should talk to the mechanic who's inspecting for free - and if he has a lift, then ask what he'll charge to locate the repaired area... this gets you browning points since he knows he's not working for free and he may be more thorough on both mechanical and structural inspection.
