New to EVOs

Hey everyone. This is my first time posting here and am very new to the scene. I have owned Hondas but am looking to upgrade and purchase an Evo. I've been doing some research on the vehicle, however my eyes are not trained yet to spot all the nuances of each type of trim and so I was hoping to get a little help from someone in finding out if the vehicle looks stock/clean and up to par. It's a black 2006 Evo MR and from what I can tell it looks a little different when comparing it to Evos that I've seen on the road. Can someone confirm? The price range I've been finding seems to be in the 23k-26k range but this one is about 22k. Just hoping this is a good deal. The website is below. Looking forward to join the community!

Thanks in advance!

Of course pri ce is going to depend upon mileage. I pifked up my 03 8 from a guy for only 13 with quite a few mods and only problem was it grinds in 5th if u shift fast. How many miles are on the car you are looking to purchase and what are the mods? Evos typically tend to retain value.

to be honest... if ur think of buying an evo and planning on make it go fast. i suggest u look into these 2 main factors:
1. buy an evo that has already built transmission, new good clutch( may be transfer case as well)!!! becus once the Hp go up... stock clutch will slip easy at 300whp and once u get into modding an evo u cant stop...so if ur gonna built tranny and new clutch urself, u will be looking at over 5G
2. buy an evo that has already built the bottom end. like i said modding an evo is addicting and its always good to have a strong bottom end.
3. Just go buy a well-built modded evo...if u dont like the part u can always sell it and buy diff parts as far as u learned more bout evo

No 13k dollars. And I agree with the post above. Its getting harder to find stock evos now days. So most evos u will find will already have alot done. My suggestion would be to buy as stock of an evo u can find to make it your own. But if all else fails buy one already built really well with no problems.

Look around the site a lot of great deals pop up all the time and most people are always willing to negotiate.

It's got about 58.5k mi already.

I'm looking for a stock Evo to start out fresh. I'm not really looking for a modded car at the moment.

Anyone think it's a good deal for 22k?

I got my 08 X with 40k for 20.9, but the IX is more sought after I believe.

If you are looking for an IX specifically thats a pretty good price, but if you just want a newer car with less mileage, you can easily find an X for that price.

haha...thats what i said when i bought my evo and im sure there tons of evo owner out there said the same thing.... but as long as u own it, as soon as u start modding a lil thing such as an intake, it will lead u to an addiction trust me...i been thru all this i knew bro, especially i was from a Honda world jus like u lol
