I've already tried searching this Forum and Google but didn't really find anything helpfull ...

What's the actual difference between JDM/USDM and so on? I know that the USDM-Evo is a bit heavier due to crash regulations regarding front bumper and so on.

But what do these names acutally mean?

USDM ... US-Spec Evo? Only built in US?
JDM ... Japan Spec?!?

Whats the "name" of those for Europe? (LHD, Germany, Austria, so on.) (Theres also a difference between thos from Germany and those from Austria ... Too many differences ... )

I also don't really get the names like MR (Evo 9 with 5-speed, no automatic climate, Sunroof, but thats all I know. ) and so on. But didn't search for that ...

Please enlight me!

USDM = United States Domestic Market

JDM = Japanese Domestic Market

Built in Japan and imported to US. Hence "Import"

Usdm cars are the ones sold in the united states
Jdm cars are the ones sold in japan

Im not sure what your looking for in this thread. Try searching the forums.Theres a good bit of differences between the two

Still one question remaining ... Which shortcut does indicate that it's a european model? (USDM and JDM obviously not ... EDM?)
