My car is stock motor and will not likely ever see a track. I want a set of coils mostly for astetic purposes. However I don't want the car to ride like crap either. Just looking for some current opinions on D2, Megan, Apexi or others at the $1000 price point.

Exactly what I would recommend, shot you a pm!

 

Skip the cheap coilovers and get a set of quality lowering springs (GTWorx, Swift, H&R, Eibach, etc.). They'll ride nicer, handle better, and last longer. Add in a rear anti-sway bar to complete the package.

 

If you got that route, I would recommend the Swift's and a Swift rear sway or a Whiteline 24.

 

Front end is blown on both sides and I like the ajustability factor. I put 40k on my last set of co's ant they were $1000 koni coils still great when I sold the car. Heavier car too 4000lb Audi S4...

 

I just put on my BC racing coilovers and was happy how they turned out. Got them for 950 shipped!
