I don't warm mine up in the summer however, I take it easy till it is warm. In the winter I let mine warm up to operating temps before driving it. Carbon buildup? 700hp should clear all that carbon out

In the winter, I warm it up for about 5 minutes and drive slowly for the first couple of miles (like I'm driving a Civic,)

Of course on that built like a tank BC 2.5L stroker. I've got the gas pedal down all the way before I even crank it so the rpms jump up as fast as possible. Nothing gets the oil moving like over 9000 rpms...

I don't care about late to work.

Late to happy hour, dinner, and pool league are unacceptable however

Yea I saw that which kinda prompted my first post, I kinda agree and don't agree with the article. I agree with some other guys on here about the tranny needing to be warmed up.

Depends on just how cold it is. I'll warm it up as best I can (based on my schedule and how late I am) and sometimes let it come to full temperature or at least 1/4 ways past the C. I'll then take it easy on my first 5 minutes of driving. Kind of like taxiing out an aircraft to get to the runway. Allows all my systems to come up and get warm.

I let mine run a minute or so at idle and then stay out of boost until oil temps reach 150F or so. That takes a couple miles in the summer but 4+ in the winter temps.
