weird idle

I just installed a new throttle body gasket. As soon as I got to the next light I noticed. My idle was bouncing from 1000 rpm n 1300 then it goes to 1500 n fixes itself... what might my problem be??
Was driving around tonight n noticed every time I stopped I had a cloud of smoke behind me.... what's going on?

The idle is also starting to raise n stay at around 1500 rpm. It also seems to be running a little leaner then it should. Anyone able to help?

You car is not tuned and you have a VTA BOV. Until you make some changes to get your car running right, no one will be able to help. Good luck.

did you do your seals or just the gasket? my throttle was also high after i replaced the TB seals. try loosing up the throttle cable a bit you dont want it tight. after a while my idle basically fixed itself lol

hey so i took my throttle body back out today to see if i missed maybe a vacume line or some kind of conector and found nothing. i looked in my idle control valve connector and there was a little moisture. i used an air chuck to dry it out but that didn't fix it. is there something im missing? could my ecu be having a hard time re-learning my idle? would resetting the ecu be a bad idea?
