What things will Void Mitsubishi Warranty?

I'm planning to get aftermarket mods if I'm getting a Lancer. I want it to look nice and pretty and to boost more power into that small car. But I don't really want to void the warranty they give me.

Can someone tell me what things I'm allow to upgrade that will not void my warranty and things that might/will void my warranty plz

I'm looking to change the following parts:
Front/Rear Spoiler
Front, Side, Rear Skirts
Turbo
Turbo Timer
Gauges
Intercooler
Exhaust System (muffler)
Shifting Knob

An air freshener will void the Mitsu warranty.

To summarize the important points:

if it's aftermarket AND it causes the problem, will not cover it. Therefore, if you put on aftermarket brakes and the brakes fail, they will not cover that. BUT if you put on aftermarket brakes and the door falls off, they still have to fix the door.

Also, if they're sneaky, they can try to convince you that the mod caused a problem. One board member had his dealership explain that his larger wheels blew out the tranny. So beware lying *******s (of course, that desribes most people at my dealership...).

When i buy my Lancer i will "re-design" my Lancer by replace those ugly stock pieces with body kits. What if i gone into an accident with my new body kits? Will they void my warranty? And plus will they repair my lancer so it is like what i bought the car or what it looks like after i mod the car?

Your insurance company covers any damages in an auto accedent not the manufacturer of the vehicle. Your auto insurance should cover the cost of just stock peices that have damage, but they will usually pick stock components unless you opt to take a check and have the repairs done yourself, in which case you can usually go out and but the peices you want to replace your stock components with.
