What constitutes a voided warranty?
Ok, I know someone that is trying to tell me that if you let mitsubishi install performance parts on your car that it won't void the warranty. While I would be completely shocked if this were true, I don't expect it to be. Anyway, what voids your warranty? Is it any mods to the engine? I plan on keeping mine close to stock for about a year, then throwing that baby out the window...just want to know what I'm dealing with. Thanks!

I never even knew that if you could get the dealer to install an aftermarket part (even though it's more expensive) that you could still keep your warranty. I also did not know that the dealer couldn't blame a problem on any aftermarket mods...I was under the impression that if you modded (the engine at least), and something happened, you were pretty much screwed with the warranty

all the people on here who had mitsu void there warranty must have horrible service departments because at my mitsu they are very leniant and let you mod your car ..and they still keep your warranty
my mitsu dealer is pretty cool, they know i have mods etc.. I have oil changes done on it by them all the time, they just tell me that if something goes wrong just put it back to stock before bringing it to them in case a big dog is there or something.
