Well I just recently got an 06mr and it came with a GFB deceptor bov. Are these any good? I am planning to get a new one. What does everyone recommend? I know they have to be recirculated, just want to know whats best for our cars. Thanks!

Why even bother or is stock not preferable, because it's... well... it's stock? Never mind that it's been engineered and refined by a team concentrating on the project for nine (!) generations and is best for drivability, regardless.

Define "work fine." There are some that can hold more pressure than stock without encountering as many drawbacks as the rest, but what's the point at stock-ish boost?

At the risk of repeating myself, for what application, to what end? For a car like yours, no. A built car with a big turbo, not as awful as the rest. FWIW, Em from STM, who is the only tuner that I trust with my own car, recommends a Tial over the Synapse.

Mitsubishiparts.net or STM (cheap shipping, good prices on OEM parts and amazing service, should you need it). Good luck.

It definitely depends on what boost levels you're going to be running at. Personally, I've owned 2 stock IX BOVs and had problems with both of them, but I'm also running around 26psi. One of them (bought used) leaked around 25 psi and the other (bought new) gave me fluttering/bucking issues under partial throttle. They seem to be kind of hit or miss as far as qaulity and I believe the general consensus is that the stock BOVs are only good up until about 25 psi.

I now have a Synapse and drivability wise, it's 10 times better than either one of the stock BOVs that I used. The only issue I have with it is getting it to play nicely with my 3 Port EBCS. Sometimes it flutters when the EBCS tries to make small changes under WOT in 4th and 5th gear. I think it could be an issue with my wastegate but I'm planning on swapping my turbo soon so I'm going to wait until then to see if the problem goes away.
