I had them on my evo, they blew out my struts pretty bad... to the point where I had to upgrade faster then expected. I bought a set of the ISC coilovers from the group buy, installed em monday, I love em so far, still working out a few kinks but they are 1000x better then the teins on stock struts

Why would you change the turbo I must ask? Many of us here would love to have that turbo under our hoods!

Either way, Welcome and congrats on the purcharse

I want to upgrade to a stctr3030r turbo. I know this turbo will make more power and the FP green is stock frame power that bolts on the OEM manifold. Yea I pretty sure ill have to upgrade fast my car is getting a little bouncy. lol I might go with coil overs for now and go from there.

if you don't have an alarm system then GET A TOP NOTCH ALARM SYSTEM RIGHT THIS INSTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

after searching for hard driven daily driver, I went with GTWorx/Bilstein HDs, the lowest drop possible (I like hard elevation changes). added in whiteline 24" rear bar, rear bump steer, and rear trailing arm bushings, as per Andrew at GTWorx recommendations.

according to legend this will result in a more civilized ride around town, less body roll AND perform must better at the limits of braking and cornering. the best of both worlds for a DD. my install is scheduled for next Thursday.
thanks for the word of advice! I do plan to get a alarm system. I actuall y know a guy that can put a really nice one in that allows you start your car and always know where its at on a gps on your phone. It's crazy, it even allows you to swipe your finger on the window to open the car. haha BALLER!!!

Welcome!

One other thing to look into would be to change out the drilled/slotted rotors for a set of slotted ones, or even blanks. Drilled rotors look cool and work fine on the street, but if you plan to track the car, its possible that the rotors may crack. Have a peek at this article by Girodisc: http://www.girodisc.com/Technical-Info_ep_45.html

Is that even a real turbo? But depending on your HP goal, base it from there

As for coils, I've only been on em for a week and I already love them a bajillion times more then the teins

Looking forward to the direction you go with the motor

Darn straight! I popped the question back in Feb. and got a yes, we had it all planned and then things kinda faltered financially, so now we are just waiting until we get enough $$ together to get the real thing done! (and over with... haha JK! )

I know these cars and make a 1000hp and how awesome would that be. Right now 1000hp is far too much bc I want to know this car by the back of my hand before I do a upgrade like that and bring it to a track. Thanks for the info on what a roll center kit does. I still have a ton to learn.
You're Welcome. The foundation that is the Evolution is trully amazing and the upside is limitless as long as you do your homework, take opinions in here with a grain of salt and always start small and begin with an ending. Do this and you will never be disappointed. Always do your modifications methodically and take your time otherwise you WILL end up spending a lot of money on the same upgrade/job twice. Ask me how I know More than anything maintain. So often we get so caught up with the mod bug that we forget to do simple maintenance things. If you do your services on time, take a proactive approach to dealing with the Evo hic ups that WILL pop up your Evo has the potential to run forever.
