From what little ive read meth kits can be EXTREMELY risky, which sort of deters me from it since reliability is still a major factor.
eh don't go into there dangerious because your not running straight meth. 50/50 mix is just fine. Heet deicer is 99% methanol the ones in the yellow containers. It is be the best you can get for cheap. I believe a 1 gallon container is 6 bottles of that, I forget and I am to tired to do the math. Labonte is the kit I have and its a great kit and it comes with everything. Only thing you have to really do is drill and tap a spot for it in your upper ic pipe just before the throttle body. Wireing is pretty straight forward and it honestly isn't that hard to install. Only downside is it does run out but there kit comes with a fail safe and led to let you know hey your getting low. I ran my meth kit for about 2 years with absolutely no issue what so ever other then running out every few months. Alot of people say they are dangerious because they think meth will allow you to run stupid amounts of timing and another factor is people really don't know how to tune for it. You get a guy who knows how to tune with it and it will be some pretty cheap hp.

I saw your setup for sale and its the reason I said that hahaha. There is a lot of mis information about meth and how its run and tuned. I looked long and hard before I decided to run it, but found out its not that big of deal at 50/50

Go with the cams/springs. Then maybe find a used IX turbo. Do you have front mount and piping? Your gonna have to run higher boost to make 400 so upgraded front mount would help.

I have upper and lower piping, but stock front mount. From what i've read replacing the front mount with an aftermarket is pricey. Not that the cams and turbo isnt, but the front mount would yield like a 15whp gain right?

kelford 272's made me very very happy. Coupled with e85, I have all the power I could ever want.

Ok well i turns out there is an e85 station about 30 miles from my house. Idk if its worth the drive, but ill go for it. Other than getting tuned for it, are there any upgrades to my fuel system that are required before running it? Also can the car be tuned to run on e85 and regular 93 octane? Im sure there will be times an e85 station isnt around.

If you do cams you are going inside the engine, a turbo is basically a "bolt on." Depends on what your long term goals are and if you plan on keeping the car. Once you put cams in you are unlikely to remove them where you can pull off a turbo in an afternoon and re-sell it for 75% of what you paid for it.

I'd like high 300's, 400whp max. I'm leaning towards the hp green. But from what i've read i will need larger injectors. IS this true? Id probably be running it around 24 or 25 psi.

would it be unwise to consider a used turbo?
Idk if i'd do used injectors, but the turbo seems reasonable to buy used.
