Evo 8 gsr and Evo 8 MR

Evo 8 gsr and Evo 8 MR
How can you tell the difference or identify the GSR(EVO8) and MR(EVO8) other then the six and five speed.? Or if the six speed is converted to a five?

The vortex generator is standard on an MR. Another thing to look at is to see if the headlights are HID and has the leveling motor switch and fog lights as only VIII MR's and SSL's had that. I'm assuming it's not an SSL as you never mentioned a sunroof or leather.

I'm about to throw everyone off. I have a 2003 Evo VIII with aluminum roof [with sunroof], enkei 17" wheels, power windows and doors, cloth recaro seats, radio (no sub in trunk), 5 speed, no VG and no badges. It's not an MR, GSR, or SSL. And it's all original from the factory.
