Shift knob is...

Hey guys so im picking up my new 2012 evo gsr today from the dealer. I got to sit in it last night when it arrived but wasnt allowed to take it home because the bank was closed.... But I realized when I was sitting in it that I wasnt the biggest fan of the oem shift knob and the actual shifter itself. I had an rsx-s before and had a skunk2 shift knob before and LOVED IT. Anyone know if I can get a better knob (similar to my old skunk2 one)? and what do other people think of the oem setup

Congrats on your purchase! I just got my 2012 GSR too and I'm still floored (don't think that's going away any time soon).

The OEM knob is certainly a no frills item and I see how it can get uncomfortable to some.
I might switch mine in the future for one that looks kinda like the nismo one I had on my 240sx which is oblong and not a ball so I have leverage but as I am reminded these days by the weather I want to make sure if I get a new one that it doesn't feel like the wrong end of a soldering iron... though in the OP's case would be a popsicle eh?

Just buy an aftermarket one and sell me your OEM knob. I've been looking for one to replace my 09 Lancer dumb-look-knob

I personally know Anatoliy that sells BuyBlackline, the knob he sells is *nice* He popped it out of his VIII (the one pictured on his link) and the weight of the knob was perfect.

It's a great choice
