Hey everyone! Soon to be Evo owner here. My wife and I have been building a new home for the past 6 months and I havent been able to buy anything until we close on it. That day is finally coming next week on the 15th! I cant wait to pick one up in the next couple of weeks.

It will be my first DSM. I've been a Toyota & Mini Cooper owner for a while now. I really look forward to the experience, hopefully I'll get to meet some of you at the next gathering

Thanks! I'm new to the DSM marque, but have several friends that have been around them for years that are helping me in my hunt. I've got my eye on a few at the moment so we'll see what I get to pull the trigger on. See you around the boards!

 

Not really a DSM though. DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors which was a joint cooperation between Plymouth/Mitsubishi/Eagle in making the Talons,Eclipses, and Lasers. Basically a DSM is a car with a 4g63 motor. An EVO VIII and IX, I kinda see what your getting at but they arn't really DSMs.

 

Technically anything after 1991 would not be considered a real "DSM" since it was at that time that Mitsubishi took over Chrysler's 50% share and was renamed Mitsubishi Motors of America in 1995.... but I guess you can call it willful ignorance because the triple diamond still sits on the car
