Are Evos Really as Bad as People make them Seem?
Hmmm, Evos take maintenance to keep them going.
If you get one for $15K, as stated before, make sure you have an emergency mechanical fund. Also, have the Evo checked out by someone who knows them.
The insurance thing is a big factor in my opinion.

The '13 GenCoupes take pretty well to mods as well. They're not 1/4 mile cars by any means, but they are great for what they are. If it was a toss-up between the two I would swing towards an Evo, but since you already have the Coupe with warranty and all the goodies I say keep it. If the Evo is like a DSM in regards to maintainance, I agree - maintainence is key. My DSM was pretty turn-key and reliable, and I got good gas mileage for a 20 year old AWD.
Out of curiosity, do you have the base, premium, or R-Spec?
