newb here

hey guys.

i sell used cars, that is my main motivation for wanting to be part of this community. i deal predominately in rare/unique/under represented imports. The Evo, in all its manifestations, definitely falls under the catagory of being rare and unique, so it's exactly the kind of merchandise that i want to be selling.

plus, i look forward to being a better educated salesman by reading the threads here.

anyway, my name is Sean Ryan from Livonia, Michigan. thanks for having me on your board.

Welcome to the Evo Forum. First of all im no salesman, but what i can say is that Evos are not cars that you can pick up for 8,000 and add another couple thousands to make the sale. One thing is that most people on the market looking for a car are not willing to pay high dollar for an Evo especially since most won't know what an Evo is. I know where I live no damn car lot delaer had an Evo that was for sale. I called a few, and most said that the reason no Evos were picked were for the reason that most won't sell fast as much as toyotas or hondas do. And, Im pretty sure that the whole thing about being a salesman to sale cars as fast as possible.

So I ended up driving four hours to pick mine up. Im not saying you can't make business selling them Im just simply telling you what I think. Like I said im no sales person so I don't really no how it works.

But you can always give it a try

Oh, we get a wide range of rare/unique cars. Evos are far too rare to make a business selling them, but we can get a steady flow of of a wide variety of rare cars. It's a niche thing that works for us.
