First time

Well I have never looked at or driven an evo. Raced them before but never looked at the car up close. I have a 300c Srt8 that I'm getting rid of and I'm headed to test drive a 2013 tomorrow. I know the mr has all the bells and whistles but is there any power difference between them. Also will the engine handle mods and is the clutch strong?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I know nothing about these cars and my only way to drive one is at the dealer. I want the gsr with nothing in it. Anyone chime in to give some insight please.

well, i own an 8 but rode in the newer evo. their def a lot smoother riding then the 8s, 8s ride rough, the interior is real nice, plus it has the option of heated seats and all which the older evos dont. the one thing i didnt like is under the hood there alot of plastic going on, but you can get aftermarket intake and all from like ams and its better then that cheap plastic look.

Well I drove a gsr today and the only odd thing is it feels like it dies down a little when launching no matter how much gas you give it.

Mr's are the paddle shifts, 6 speed, and not as good of track warriors as the 5 speed manuals. If you plan to keep it mostly stock, an mr is fine. If you plan to mod it for 400+ hp/tq then go for the 5 speed

Another question, with the Cobb tuner can you add/subtract fuel at certain rims?
