How much have you spent on your evo up until now?

hey guys and girls

I would like to know roughly how much money people have been putting into their current evos just by modding. Excluding all maintenance and fuel costs.
obviously the owners of race cars and extremist will have another zero or two compared to the others.

I would just like to see your numbers and time period. any other info regarding where your car is at would b a plus.

hopefully it will scare me abit hahaha

*admins, if you dont like the idea of this thread, im happy to take it down.

Cheers

Brakes- $700
Rims and Tires- $1900
Long block- $8500
Turbo system- $4500
Exhaust- $500
Transmission and Transfer Case- $8500
Clutch- $1200

That's a rough, but very close estimate (+/- $1000) of everything I put into my car so far. Car still isn't running...

Im more interested to see how much a Mitsubishi Evolution, #'s 5-10, would go for by you (says your from Tokyo). Whats the average price of an Evolution VIII in Japan? We've all pretty much spent the same over here.. You probably created this thread to tease us

Only about $4,300 at this point. Most of it for maintenance items, I haven't managed to add a single performance part yet.

Well, an evo 8 would cost about 2mill JPY which is about 22g USD.
but the cost of keeping your car, parking rent, shaken etc is stupidly high.
Really not teasing any of you. I have a stock evo 6 and planning to do some mods in the future, but in the past when i was doing alot of things on my silvia, oneday i realized i put in all my pay and life savings into the car. I was at the point where i didnt have any money for fuel or road tax lol.
I want to do it properly this time. Really decide on whether each and every mod is actually needed and does the job etc, Stick to a budget so i dont have to jump a sinking ship like last time. i want to really VenjoyV driving the car have enough money to take it out on track and all that

I've only spent money on maintenance and wear-and-tear.

Bone stock Evo IX SE purchased new in February 2007, curently with just under 57k miles

Set of Z1 Star Specs at 25k with installation: ~$520 (before $60 rebate)
Set of V112 Evos at 50k with installation: ~$480 (before $80 rebate)
Front and rear pads at 40k: ~$100
Wiper blades: ~$50
15k service: ~$250
30k service: ~$400
45k service: ~$250

I'm likely going to have the 60k service done tomorrow, which will run me between $700-1000, depending on if the shop recommends doing the water pump and the pulleys at the same time.

I don't track maintenance, but mods $10,000.

Don't tell my wife...

Edit: I also spend $2,000 a year on my track budget (yes, it's a small budget), which I have been doing since 2009.
