new evo owner

Whats up guys/gals!,
So i purchased my first evo about a week ago and im enjoying every moment lol, gas milage sucks but oh well. Im the third owner and car currently sits at 113k miles. ive put 1k already myself lol drove it to so cal from sac area and back shortly after purchasing it. With that being said the original owner did all the mods to the car and unfortunately the 2nd owner didn't know much about cars, he just bought it because he had the money. I ran the carfax and everything he told me matched records. He only owned it for a lil over a yr and only put about 1k miles himself. He owns a tow company out in sunnyvale ca so he never drove it due to being always on call so he decided to sell and thats where i came in. Im mechanically inclined and i learn pretty fast and reason for me choosing a evo was the motor layout. I come from a honda background and motor is very similar to most dohc engines i've worked with so i figured wrenching on it wont be terrible. With all this being said the car was pushing 25psi. Boost gauge started acting up so i purchased a new one on the way. After reading a couple posts i decided to lower it down to 20psi because i have no idea whats been done motor wise, so better safe than sorry. i popped the valve cover the other day and snooped around and so far ive discovered the following mods:
1:hks catback exhaust
2:hks 280 cams and hks cam gears
3:rc 750 injectors
4:greddy bov (i read this isn't a good idea so ill be selling this one and will purchase one that recycles back instead of blowing off at atmosphere most likely a stock evo 9)
5: stock evo 8 turbo (sucks i was hoping it was a evo 9 or something since he's cammed) but checked wheel and has absolutely no play so its a plus
6: full coil overs, haven't taken wheel off but they ride freaking awesome!!
7: hks intake

while i popped the valve cover first thing i looked for were head studs and sadly enough it had head bolts. This was the main reason i decided to turn down boost. I also discovered he added a 2 step/launch control and I've read these dnt have that option which makes me believe he's tuned since ecu is probably flashed. Overall car runs amazing, when i drove to so cal i did have it at 25 psi and passing up cars in 5th gear was fun. i miss the pull since i lowered boost after going thru mods. I'm gonna check fuel pump next and see if he upgraded that. I picked it up for 12k after looking at a few this was the best choice. i plan on taking it in for a tune myself and I'm debating whether or not to crank boost back to what it was since I'm leaning towards thinking car was actually tuned at 25psi. i don't drive like a psycho and i actually baby it just miss that pull when i feathered the gas lol. So yea thanks for reading this essay and give me some opinions plz they are very much appreciated. Here are some quick pics i took . if anyone recognizes this car and knows the original owner that be awesome!! long shot but worth a try

Congrats on the purchase. Love those brake ducts, not a big fan of the wheels though

Not too sure. Definitely get tunned, I gotta search around for a good tuner w a nice rep. Gonna see what fuel pump i got. Most likely its stock fuel pump. I wanna be around mid 300s
range hp wise but its also my dd. Im thinking fuel pump and head studs. Gotta save for a head gasket kit and timing components since ill be pulling head off so might as well do it right. Other than that just gotta recirculate the bov. I found a adapter on ebay that threads on to my greddy bov so yea.

Mid 300's is a good DD goal in my opinion, still fun yet enjoyable for a nice cruise. I know there's a few threads about builds reaching the mid 300's and budget friendly. I definitely suggest ARP head studs, I need to do ARP head studs so I can finally reach my goal in the 400's. Only thing holding me back hahaha

As far as a tuner definitely look around, my area I had to use a local tuner but I'm going to make a good drive for a dyno tune in Orlando after getting my ARP's installed.
