by buddy works at a dealer in Canada and can get me a 09 MR for real cheap from a trade in. Has anyone ever imported a used car from Canada into the US that can give me pointers?

I'm guessing if you are finding an EVO in Canada for cheaper than what you can get in the US then there is something wrong with the EVO in Canada lol.

They are usually a lot more expensive here. I was looking at cars in the US for a couple months at auctions and they were selling for 23-24K all day long. Good luck finding an EVO here with a clean record and low kms for that price.

26K for an 08 is cheap here.

Then you have to consider the duty costs which I believe are 6.10% plus other fee's you need to pay to import the car.
