Smog/visual inspections and out of state cars.
Hey all, first post here and just wanted to say hi and had a question.. I'm looking at an Evo IX, a 2005 with 34,000 miles (more or less) the thing is is I now live in California and the car I'm interested in is in Nevada. If the car is bone stock as it looks, will I have an issue in passing smog and the visual inspections? Or is it just a better move to look for a California car and forego any out of state cars? Sorry, totally new at this. Prior to considering this all I had was a motorcycle and a Z (had no issues with smog on that car). Thanks !
Here's the car

I mean with these cars, honestly you'd want to drive the car. An inspection can only tell you so much, and something could be missed. I'd rather be there to see, feel, hear, drive the car myself and make a judgement. THEN consider taking it to a dealer or an inspector. Just my 2cents.

I meant more of the visual inspection that the DMV does or any inspections they do. I almost bought a RHD Impreza from out of state a few months ago but we couldn't get it to pass smog and it fell through. I'm finding great prices for Evos outside of California and I'm wondering if I would have issues bringing a bone stock Evo from another state to here in California.
