My Introduction to the EVO World
Hey Everyone,
My name is Cameron, otherwise known as 370zforme on YouTube. I recently sold my 2013 Subaru WRX STI Limited with full bolt-ons , E85, and stock turbo that was making 362AWHP and 411AWTQ on COBB Tuning SoCal's Mustang Dyno -
. I absolutely loved the STI as I considered it an upgrade from my 2008 NISMO 350Z, once again
. The reason I decided to get rid of my STI was due to the fact that I had cracked a piston ring and even though the car was still drivable and it was in an early stage, I decided that I did not want to build the engine and would rather start with something new which is where my EVO X comes in {thumb up} . It's funny because while I was waiting for the 2013 STI to be able to be ordered, I started to look at a 2012 EVO X GSR with SS package and loved the car but decided that I would rather wait for the STI because I liked the lines of the STI more at that time
I unfortunately did not know of the notorious ring land failure that had been plaguing the Subaru community for years so I thought that my decision between the STI and EVO was dealing with looks and space. All I can say is that while I had a lot of good times in the STI and met a lot of great people, I do wish that I had pulled the trigger on that 2012 EVO X because I have been loving mine. The EVO X really fits my needs well and is pretty much a bundle of all of the characteristics that I now want in a car. I don't want to spend anymore time reviewing a car that you guys all know about so i'll stop there. Before I end my introduction I want to say that I am well aware that some of my videos are circulating around the EVO forums and some of my fellow EVO owners are quite shocked that I now own an EVO after I made a video stating why I preferred my STI to an EVO. Looking back at that video I just laugh because my points are so ridiculous, I was clearly just trying to justify the Subaru because I owned one. Whatever though, after being on YouTube for awhile I learned very quickly that not everyone is going to like you or agree with your views which is fine
I hope to meet some more great people in the EVO community and will leave you with some pictures of my car!

Now I just have to wait until tomorrow to get the car back with Enkei RPF1's and H&R Lowering Springs

That's funny, I saw your video a while ago and I felt like you were justifying your reason for buying an sti, or maybe because you wanted a more comfortable car. Awesome looking evo man congrats.
