newbie from STL
been into e30's for the last nine years, I recently totaled my 1988 325i convertible turbo charged e30, was running 19psi at 400hp...I MISS IT!!!...so I needed a daily driver to get back and fourth to work, walked into the dealership where I work as a mechanic and found out a 03 lancer 0-z rally was just traded in and about to be sent off to auction, has 260xxx miles, body in good shape and interior as well, kinda sucks that its front wheel drive auto
...in the last 2 weeks of owner ship, ive replaced the front sway bar links, stabilizer bushing, tie rods, water pump and timing belt, oxygen sensor, spark plugs, valve cover gasket, oil changed and I am about to replace front brakes and the rear catalyst converter due to engine code p0421, only planning to use this as a daily driver for work commute but as I own it I place to do small thing to make this a awesome car. thanks for reading and now I just have one quick question...
is it better to go with oem spec or can I do a universal???????????
