06 Evo IX

Bought it awhile back, been on the site for quite awhile also, just never post. I have a question. I bought the IX because I prefer it to the X. My question is are performance parts still readily available for it? I've ordered quite a few and I'm not even getting shipping times on a lot of them. Didn't know if it was where I'm ordering or what I'm ordering. I need to replace the throttle body shaft seals, so I ordered the mil-spec seals from mil-spec and haven't even received confirmation. Did order a HKS Super Suction set off a member and it was a great experience and is on the way but I haven't received confirmation on the new replacement filter I ordered off another web site. Just curious if this is going to be an ongoing process or if you guys know of the best site to order most my parts from?

Some vendors do not keep inventory on hand. Most of them take your order and other peoples orders and then wait until they have enough orders to save on shipping.

Evo VIII/IX has great aftermarket support. Also you could order parts from other members and save wait time.

If you want new parts then make sure the parts are ordered through a vendor that has them in stock.

Thanks for the information. I don't have my 15 post yet so it's hard to parts from most individuals on the forums. I'm gonna have to work on that. That's for the advice though. I'll make sure to check availability before ordering from now on.

You should of at least received an order confirmation. If you're concerned with the order I suggest calling or emailing the vendor to check on the status. Any reputable vendor wont have an issue with that I'm sure.

Sending PM as well.

I've talked to a couple people on my orders. Just never get real answers. At least I've started getting something.

I do have order confirmations, so at least it's going in the right direction.

All parts received. I guess I just need to learn to be more patient.

How long was shipping and who did you get parts through? Would you use them again?
