Hi everyone,
I am new to this site and i had some general questions about making modifications to an EVO. This is my first eve and i do have the funds to make the modifications. I just want to know where to start. What should i modify first? I am going for a street legal car, that i can occasionally take to the track. Performance mostly. I could care less for looks. I have read some threads, but they were all about 1-9's and i really couldn't find too much on the X's. Maybe i was looking in the wrong place, but i would really appreciate your help or direction for the answer

Start with basic bolt-ons and a tune. Decided if you want to go with E85

Bolt-Ons. Intake, Intercooler, Hard Pipes, Downpipe, Test Pipe or High Flow Cat and Catback. Get a nice tune with a boost controller and bam! More power!

Thanks for the info and i never thought about using E85. It does make more sense due to the octane ratings compared to premium 93 or 94. Is there any good websites to get these items from? Let me rephrase that questions. Do you recommend any good websites where i can purchase these parts from?

to purchase, you can go through the vendors right here on evoM. since you said street legal, there is not much you can do to your car besides AEM intake and maybe some suspension. also think about your warranty because its gone for many people once you drive it off the lot. also think of your real goal before you start wasting money. your evo is already track ready, but if you want it faster thats a different story. my advice is to read read read read all the threads about the evo x. welcome to the club
