Alright so I talked to Don Herring dealership. They have a 14 they are trying to sell me that is wicked white with SS package. It looks pretty good. They over the phone valued my trade in on my Sti awfully low imo. I am trying to haggle with them a bit and see what I can get before I drive up there and test drive it. I know I can get a better deal with a bit more work.

That was my only complaint with them. They were kind of low on my trade in. I got them to agree to $1000 more. I drove from SA to Dallas to buy my new Evo. They came in at the original trade-in price ($1000 less than agreed upon) because I smoked in the car. I do understand that might bring down the value, but it was pretty obvious they were not happy with giving me $1000 more on my trade-in and were going to look for any excuse to offer me less.

But with that said, we had also agreed upon atleast 3% for the interest rate. Since they took more money off the trade-in, I did get them to find a way to lower the interest rate. They were able to lower it to 2.something percent which saved me about $800 over the loan. So although I was a little angry about the trade-in thing, I wasn't about to sweat them over $200.

And my smoked in car sold less than 2 weeks later so obviously it wasnt that big of an issue

From what I have seen there is the SSS package that gets the leather interior, aside from that are the interiors all the same?

I just want a nicer interior than my 06 sti and something that can perform better to bolt ons without having to build the engine.
The 06 sti is much nicer than the evo x interior. Maybe look into getting the leather seats from an sti limited?

Well I went and looked at a 2012 with 15k miles. Definitely felt different than my sti. And I would disagree and say the sti 06 interior is not as nice as the 2012 evo x. They wanted 29k and only wanted to give me 16k for my sti. There were also several small scratches on the trunk but they said that would get their paint and body to fix.

I am going to Don herring Saturday to look at a new WW evo x with SS package.

The car cornered and steered and even braked better than my sti imo. The only thing that felt weird was shifting quickly. The rpm didn't seem to fall as fast so I felt like I was giving it too much gas or something maybe shifting too quickly. It was a different feel for sure

Alright so I held out and waited to sell my STI myself. Guy is coming to meet me at my bank and check it out with all the money from his bank etc. Looks like I will have it sold on Wednesday. Whichhhh means I will be buying my white evo x gsr this coming week if everything goes as planned!

I will be getting a 2014 evo x with sight and sound. I have one question that i have not seemed to be able to find. This car has the lock/unlock key fob obviously but the "fast key" is included or not? And isnt the "fast key" mean you just need to be near your car for it to unlock by itself or am I wrong about this feature?

Also, it does come with the sight and sound package 2014s from what I understand but I cant find any official confirmation.

Any ideas?
