Picked up a salvaged 06 MR last Nov. Not sure what happened to it. Looks like the driver went over a curb. Managed to **** over 2 BBSs, destroy several control arms and a spindle, and absolutely trash the fender. Replaced all that, picked up some VIII Enkeis, and am, as I write this, trailering the Evo to a frame puller to pull the front left side frame out a bit. After this, just an alignment and the car should be close to driveable!

Pics from the night of the move. Was terrified the whole way that the car was gonna roll right off the back, but everything went as smooth as it could. She's at the shop now. And yes, those are Enkeis on one side and BBSs on the other. It'll get evened out once she runs.

Ha it was a really good deal. Not really comfortable posting in the interest of future resale value, but it was a lot less than I ever thought I'd get an Evo for.

 

Car on the frame puller today. All straightened out. Looks like a rear strut got blown in the accident, and I have a leaky axle. Hopefully get that **** taken care of this weekend.

 

So this is a bit off topic, but can any of you guys recommend a good place to go to start posting some stuff that will actually count toward my post count? It would appear that none of this is, and I don't really know what else I have to say that would be useful to anyone aside from posting in this.

 

I have a full set of Evo 9 BBS and new tires for sale if you are looking for replacements.

 

I am looking for replacements but I only need a pair, not the full set. You wouldn't happen to want to split them up, would you?
