There's always RRM. I've heard that the cheapos on Ebay are just as good, though.

RRM, they're pretty much the same price anywhere so might as well support the one that supports us.

Or you can go to eBay and support capitalism Brian just wants you to support the company that sponsors him Can't say I blame him.

I have the cheaper of the two eBay shifters and could not be happier with it. the shifts are so short it feels like I'm just taking the car out of gear when I'm actually going to the next one. The side to side may be a little shorter 1-4 but 5 is still a reach... you'd have to get the RPW kit to completely replace your shifter assembly to get super short throws up and down & side to side.

good luck- look for the install instructions, they're spot on. And order the bushings from lightning motorsports. the bushings are designed for the eclipse, and are at the bottom of the bushings page.... or search for lightningmotorsports.com on this site They'll run you $15 after shipping and are very worth it if you're tired of the sloppy feel of your shifter (I'm sure you are)

Actually, www.ptuning.com is selling it a few bucks cheaper, and free shipping.

Yes, any shifter listed for the Eclipse, Lancer, or Evo (even Mirage I think?) is the same thing. That one should work fine.

Check part numbers for the B&M one, and you'll see that they're all the same (even for the earlier JDM evos). All you're replacing is the stick, and Mitsu used the same stick for all of those models. Linkage doesn't matter since you're not doing anything with it.

I don't have them, but that's because they were out of stock when I went to order the shifter. I hear the shifting is real crisp with them, and while you have the center console apart, why not go for it? As posted above, that's just another $15.

One more thing.....OK, I just purchased the shifter off ebay, It came out to $59.00 CND after shipping, not too bad. I went to the lighningmotorsports website and couldnt find the bushings though. Where are they on the site?? Also, which year of Eclipse bushings fit ours??

Thanks again
