hey, i’m about to buy an evo 4 rs but really want electric windows and i’m not sure what would be needed to convert that and is it possible ?

also i would only be converting the front windows.

@loganevo4rs Welcome for sure! I own an RS 9 & the thought of converting to pwr widows has never crossed my mind. Thats one of the beauties of the RS!

But, i imagine you would have to find a donor EvO4 w/pwr windows & do the swap? (door cards, motor & the interior window mechanism) Im sure its possible but might be tough to find?

Keep it a true RS if you can & preserve the higher RS value if possible

Go with the Evo 4 RS. RS parts are extremely rare. If you insist on changing to electric windows, find yourself sidings from a Mirage/Lancer 5g with power windows and keep the RS sidings and window parts. This will be somewhat of a downgrade from an Evo RS, even if you chose the window mechanisms and sidings from an Evo 4 GSR. But, each of his own. If it makes you happy, go for it. You can always revert back to the RS parts if you decide to keep them (I hope you do).

I'm in Canada and have been parting out Evos for the past 10 years,

Ive got a few sets of 4-6 front doors in scotia white. would be the smartest idea to preserve your roll up RS doors.
