I dont remember how many times I've heard that the RS is not going to have A/C. On Mitsu's webpage, they say it comes with A/C standard now. Wtf? Anyways, I'm also wondering how the interior of the Evo and RS will vary. RS has a "center console" with no armest while the regular evo does. Only way I can afford one of these cars is if I get the RS.. there are just so many things it doesnt come with standard.

 

It has always come with AC (I believe). They dropped it as an option and made it standard before they even started selling them here.

Thats good.. I also believe on the site it says it comes standard with a radio. These cars are going to sell like crazy. Is it tru only 700 are coming stateside?

 

no radio but the factory radio is crapola anyway... All of the literature I've read says 700 for 2004. There may be more for 05 depending on demand...

Look for a leftover 2003, I bought a leftover 03 VIII with 10 miles on it, for $26k, found out mitsu had $2000 rebates on '03s and also I used $500 customer loyalty rebate. Cheaper than a RS. Or work the guy for the RS at invoice plus $X. Strike your best deal, then tell em you also want to us the $500 customer loyalty rebate (tell em your mom, dad, bro, etc already owns a Mitsu, they don't care)

Power Windows are a must for me, I'm always putting em up and down to let out the clouds

Also, the Evo rides real nice with all 4 windows down, not much interior turbulence.
