yaw control info

Well after looking deeper into the cataloging. I had a bit of time to do some research on the yaw control matter. Well.....I think I may have been wrong. The picture that I originally posted was of yaw control. But, after going deeper into that section of cataloging...I found this picture posted here. To me it looks like it is for the center diff. and is mounted where our IC sprayer tank was. Then I proceeded to look where our water tank would be on the 05's...well it is in the same spot. So...sorry guys thought I may have uncoverd something...But I don't think I did. Again I apologize....I was wrong....I think! Why mits added this picture of the yaw control is beyond me. Doesn't make sense???

Well here is the picture.

I'd prefer only ACD but no AYC. So this may be good news. Maybe they are just trying to confuse Subaru. 05 STIs are supposed to have yaw sensors.

Why don't you want AYC?

AFAIK, the '05 Scubie yaw sensor only works with the ABS, which seems potentially less effective than the Evo's S-AYC system.

favre95, here's a crazy thought. Perhaps the regular evolution and evolution RS has the pump were the water sprayer is because they do not have S-AYC? The Evo MR has it all with the pump on back? Probably unlikely but just want to give a reason for that part on the catalog

Generally, I prefer a car that doesn't use active electronics. Less of a videogame feel. Also for Motorsport usually takes the AYC out, as far as I understand both for reliability and dynamic reasons.
