Rob- Any idea on how much you're gonna be asking for the cat-back? And yeah, RMR's prices are ridiculous, and the fact that the dealers control the mark-up is even worse. I wish someone besides RMR made shocks for the Lancer!!!!

ok so what is the big difference and/or advatanges over the exhuast that is currently availble by RRM and a "cat back" setup? i am looking into their current exhuast also, but if a cat back setup is going to be better in the long run i will wait for that. any info would be great. keep up the great work ROCK

the cat-back section will work with the current RRM muffler - - - it will eliminate the rear resonator in the stock exhaust to allow for better flow and sound (??????) - so whether you get the current exhaust available now and then get the cat-back section later, or wait to get both at once . . . . . I don't think it will matter . . . correct me if I'm wrong ROCK

No way 3 would work.

My local tuning shop has a project OZ, and they upped the piping to 2.75", and lost so much backpressure that they had to trash a pricey DC Sports muffler in favor of an uglier tunable in order to get enough backpressure to get off the line. Even the turbo guys shouldn't get 3".

Oh, and 2.25"-2.5" would be best for a 2.0L engine, even the turbos.

Funny about shop that went 2.75 inch exhaust. Sometimes bigger is not better. Wags is right. Current exhaust will fit catback piece which will be sold separately. 2.25 is right even for turbo at 10 or under psi.
