Here we go again. About once a month someone asks about the "ebay chip". First off, it's a resistor... that's right, something you can buy for less than $1 at Radio Shack. Second of all, it actually does work... a little. I would expect maybe 1-2 hp gain from it, and it will not be as smooth and consistent as an ECU upgrade. All it's doing is making your fuel mix run a little richer because it's telling the MAS that the engine is getting more air than it really is. If you want to try it, run a search to find the correct OHM and volts/amps (whatever) you need and save yourself $19.

Can you put this on like top of a thread in Lancer forums and sticky it and say no more posts about this... haha.

If I stickied every question asked frequently with a simple answer, the normal threads would start on page 2 If you want, type me a thread titled "FAQ: read this before asking anything" then PM me a link so I can sticky it in Lancer General... people will still post the same questions but I'd be willing to sticky it just so we don't have to search in the future.

But what do you want me to do now with the thread? Haha, I'm lost and it's like 3:15 A.M.
