Exclamation Iat Sensor!!!!

Anybody Install a Performance Mod Chip on their Lancer...BC the directions tell me to put the mod chip in the IAT SENSOR...but i have no clue where that is! somewhere by the intake manifold or pipe???? HELP!!!

do ur car have the stock air box....and this mod chip u got....is i t just one of those resistors off ebay?.....well if u find ur throttle body...follow the black tubing at the end of that is ur mas sensor....and there is some wires that plug into it, just unplugg that and pop the resistor right in.

naw i took my Air box out...I got a CAI in...and I cant find out where the IAT sensor is at!!! And my mod chip...It comes with 3 Different Wires...Extreme(Red)Moderate(yellow)Mild(Green)...

well if u have a cai it should be easy......it goes throttle...piping....MAS....piping...filter, its the black part in the middle of ur cai, u cant miss it

OHhh okay...Thats right...ok i remember that..MAS sensor shyt..yeah i have that black thing in tha middle...so if i unplug that from my MAS sensor...then i can put tha wire into that plug that i unplug and tape it...Leaving it hanging..but not plugged into tha MAS sensor , right? umm, if this is what i think it is (and im thinking ebay .10 cent resistor to give you "15-20 hp!!!") then im afraid you got jipped and you shouldnt put that on your car, it just messes with the mass into thinking the air is colder and hurts your car. sorry but correct me if im wrong.
