Question Good first mods

Hey ya'll I was just wondering what is a good first performance mod that you will be able to notice a decent difference from. Something within a good price range for a newb like myself.

I'd do the cat-back first. It gave a nice increase in power.

depends on if you have an evo or reg lancer. catback may be the case for the evo but with a reg lancer it makes minimal difference without a turbo. the only thing that will make any real diff for the reg lancer other than the turbo(which isnt cheap) is the rrm piggyback.

this is just my opinion

id go with a 3inch cat back, hks rs intake and a works p2 flash. you can get quite a boost in power with those three mods. the great thing is they are simple and effective, plus you dont have to add other things like a boost gauge of mbc. those three mods will run safely and reliably on the evo and it really does make a difference in performance.

Induction kit, SAFC-II, and mid-pipe/test-pipe/catback exhaust...About $1,000 for everything...close to 30-40hp depending on octane ratings in area and tuning....welcome aboard!!

Try the Staged upgrades from Vishnu. Start with just the Xede for 900.00 Their website is available from their forum on Evom. http://www.vishnutuning.com/lancer_stage_zero_2.htm
Without proper tuning, you will feel almost no gain at all from an upgraded exhaust. Feel free to ask me questions.

I would say exhaust or chip and I agree with smogrunner Vishnu stage kits are a great way to go.
