Hks Bov
Hi there lady's and gents,
I installed a HKS SSQV BoV this weekend, and ever since I have been having really bad REV drop and stalling problems.
Anyone know how I can fix this, as today I was in a turn lane in first gear, never exceeded 3,000 RPM, I dropped the clutch and it stalled completely.
I had to spark it twice, and on the third time it started. But the service engine soon light came on!
I wanted to know is there anything I did, didn't do. I noticed that the stalling and RPM droppage has been getting worse and worse over time.
It came in a kit from Ebay with the adapter, and everything. I shortened the line between the steel pipeing between the intercooler and the throttle body, and installed it, and pushed it almost underneath the stock intake. Pulled the little blue line to the line that the stock line went to on the engine block.
The line from under the intake to the turbo, was supposed to be capped with a aluminium cap.
Im waiting right now for my engine to cool to make sure everything is tight and has no holes or anything, but if you guys have any ideas please tell me!!!!
On another note what is it when you "re-circulate" the B.O.V. ??
Thank you, Evo gurus*spelling*..
Phil
