Alright, I own a '95 Eclipse GS, and a '95 Eclipse GS-T, thats non-turbo (GS) and turbo (GS-T), so I don't know Lancers that well. And to my question, my best friend owns an '03 Lancer OZ Rally. He says it has 120HP, but off which engine? I've heard a lot about what Lancers have, 4g63 n/a, which would be my GS-T engine without the turbo, and also mounted differently, or I've heard of the 4g69? Or something similar to that. I'm not a Lancer person, thats why I came here, and I'm hoping someone can help without insult. I wanna know the engine name (ex: 4g63) and the HP and TQ numbers. Thanks

basically our engine (4G94) is a bored out (4g93 - mirage engine). Yes, i love the tq on my car.

 

I thought the 4g63 was the evo engine and the 4g64 was the eclipse engine, correct me if im wrong though.

 

4g63 is the evo engine, but its actually the oldschool eclipse engine. Dont know much info on the 4g64.

 

whats the hp trq ratio on the old mirage 4g93 vs our cars?

 

Would my stock T-25 turbo and manifold fit on the OZ Rally? My friend would kill to turbo his car, even if its with the stock GS-T crap I got on mine. Planning to go up to a super 16g and get rid of my stock crap soon. Thanks for the help though.

Eclipses had the crappy 1.8L engine (base model GS), dont know the name. Then the 4g63 (GS upgrade) and the 4g63T engines in the FWD/AWD turbo. The 2nd gens had the 420a Chrysler Dodge Neon engine in it (RS/GS models) and the 4g63T (GS-T/GSX). The 96-99 GS Spyder models, not made in '95, was the 4g64 2.4L engine with 141HP. The 3rd gen eclipses, the new ones, have the 4g64 2.4L in the RS/GS models and some form of a V6 in the GT and GT-S models.

 

i dont think the manifold would fit, i think you would have to do some custom piping in order to use the turbo
