That’s if he was in CA. In Maryland I believe most of them are white. However, The scariest cop cars I have seen are Fairfax county cops. I am sure EVO cop knows what I am talking about. Just don’t mess with them.

That would be tight to put some lights on the evo and turn it into your cop car. Good luck trying to run from the police now.

Welcome to the forum, I'm a newbie too. So, if you do show up in court and the officer also shows up, are there any excuses for speeding that the judge might forgive?

Actually the best thing to in court if the officer who gave you the ticket shows up is to try and plead the judge, your a good driver, you respect the local laws of where you live and ask the judge in a nice way to only give a fine and no points.

I have been in traffic court many times when a guy or girl used this same approach, and the judge just hit them with a fine and court fees, but no points.

Again thanks to everybody who has responded to this thread. I talked to my dealer today, and he said as it stands now, I should be getting my car in the last week of September. I decided to go with the Graphite Gray color. In my opinion the car looks great. The only things I want to change right away when I get the car is a new MP3 Stereo. I like the looks of the Blacked out tail/headlights. Also the rims are nice and all, but I have never really liked BBS Rims. I'm use to seeing them on VW's and Porsche. So far I like the Volk TE37's in Gunmetal.

Last but not least the exhaust. The exhaust I have been looking at is the Blitz NurSpec R Exhaust.
If anyone has experience with this exhaust or knows any feedback, then please feel free to let me know.

Just to let you guys know. Since I'm apart of this forum, and will now have an Evo. If you guys ever have anymore legal questions, please just ask. If it's something I can't answer, I have a know a few U.S. Attorney's and one traffic lawyer that I can talk to and try to find the answer.

Thanks for your help. By the way, how do you manage to get a 35,000 car on a cop salary? Internal affairs might want to know too

I'm getting my car from Sheehy Mitsubishi in Waldorf. I just bought a new house in Waldorf, so I checked out the area dealer and got a good deal.

How about yourself?

ughh... i know if i get a ticket my insurance is gonna kill me...
wondering if most cops would take the bribe.. >< haha is this question legal?

thx
WOW!!!! He'll definately arrest your *ss. LOL.. I can see him pocketing some money from a very large drug bust, as it does happen here in CT, but I can't imagine any officer accepting a bribe from a traffic offender.

Your questions have nothing to do with Evo's or cars. Please get this thread on topic. If you have questions concerning ethics ect, then PM Evopolice.
