2004 Lancer RalliArt
Hey guys, my first post in this cool place. I discovered this website when I was shopping for a car about a month ago, because of positive feedback from RalliArt owner out there I decided to test drive one out at my local dealer. After driving one I knew I had to get it, a week later I picked up the car. I've had the car for about 3 weeks and put about 1000 miles on it. Car seems to get better everyday and Im very happy with the purchase, it it werent for this website, I've woulded ended up with another Honda Civic!

I know you said no mods for now, but just in case you change your mind...
Two of the best mods you can do right now are CAI and short throw shifter kit.
For the shifter kit, lancershop.com has a great deal ($109) for a shorty kit with all the bushings for the base and under the hood (its labeled EVO8 but it will fit).
There are other shorty kits out there that will work, but that one is the best deal in my opinion.
CAI is a little more limited in choices right now. You have a choice between RRM and Injen. Its rumored that AEM is working on one, but its not available yet.
These two mods are well worth the money.
Another item is the stock tires. depending on how aggressively you drive, you might want to consider upgrading those to a performance tire.
And finally the transmission fluid. If your shifting feels a bit "off", try upgrading to the BG oil off lancershop.com. It makes a difference in performance & feel.
Take some time to look around this site, there is lots of really good information and feedback on the different upgrades and modifications people have done.
Happy Motoring.
Still waiting for AEM cold air, im in NYC and it gets wet during the winter season, I'm looking forward to AEM cold air because their the only one that have the bypass valve. I dont want to have to mod RRM cold air just to put in bypass valve...
