You can peel out on a stock evo. Your going to launch the crap out of it if you try.

Push the gas pedal down and watch the rpm shoot to 10,000rpm then push the clutch(pedal to the farthest left) in and put your shifter into first gear. Then let the clutch out as fast as you can. Should be a pretty cool peel out!

when i bought my evo the head service guy came out to talk to me about break in and such. he told me that they had sold only 12 evo's. he then told me that he personally had been there for the sale of 10 of them. he said 8 out of 10 drivers had taken the brand new evo, still under brake in and tried to peel out of the dealership parking lot, needless to say there are many reasons why this isnt a great idea in the evo. stock tires, and awd come to mind. he wanted to make sure i i wasnt the 9th driver out of eleven to try this gay stunt. if you own an evo, or any awd car, the whole idea isnt to "peel out", but to get the car moving as fast as possible. if you want to burn out, buy a used rx-7. imho

If you're driving an Evo goodluck on that. I can't even spin my tires on a wet surface.
