Wing repairable?

Ok, after just talking to our rep, I am more than likely SOL on my calipers and wing. Well the calipers, not that big of a deal, those I can redo myself. But the wing is what I am more concerned about (clearcoat bubbling, and coming off in some spots). With that said, anyone know if something like that is repairable? And please, don't tell me what my rep told me to do, and repaint the wing all red

Are you out of warranty? I'm having my wing and calipers replaced under warranty. All the clearcoat came off my calipers and my wing looks horrible.

If you take it to a body shop tech who knows what they are doing they should be able too. I asked my body shop guy here and he said it should not be too bad to get done.

Just got mine replaced under warranty. Finally after waiting for it for 6 months. They surface scrached the crap out of my trunk in the process though I hate dealers.

Just have a reputable body shop sand down the whole wing so that it is almost to the carbon fiber, then have it re-cleared. Then your wing will look like the 8 MR-RS.

Huh? 8 MR's were the same way GSRs were, just with GG on the sides. And RSs don't even have wings...

My wing is starting to do this. I am going to wax the hell out of it and pray until closer to the end of my warranty. I still have 40k miles and 3 years to go on my warranty so I am going to wait till it gets worse before I try and have it replaced. I just hope I dont have any dealer/rep problems if I do finally have to get it replaced. I hear some dealers are good with this and others suck.

How many have had this problem and the dealer took care of ya really well?
