I tried to contact ETS via phone and nobody answered, their website is also down so I figured maybe somebody can help me out on here. I have an gt3076r kit from ETS, injen intake and ic pipes, and turboxs bypass valve. Does anyone know if these will work together? I got the injen intake couplers with the kit, but it doesnt seem to match the uicp for the bypass valve. Im going to keep trying ETS but wont near the phone for a couple hours and didnt know if somebody had any ideas. Thanks.

theres a chance it might not line up exactly the same. i had the buschur intake and with the precision 58mm on their super value kit the intake was pushed out farther to the drivers side. you can make it work though.

We do take lunch from 12-1 Pacific time so chances are you caught us then. I check all of the voicemails at 1 and will call back right away if you leave a message. The site was running a bit slow, but we just rebooted the server so it should be back to good again!

What are you using for the BOV mounting, is it our recirc kit or the factory BOV hose? Assuming nothing changed on the intake with regard to the BOV recirc inlet nipple, the BOV inlet nipple on the intercooler piping is set up to make an easy connection. Give me a call when you get a chance and send a picture or two if you can and we'll sort it out. Thanks!

Here are a few pics of the bypass valve on the ic pipe. All of the ETS intercooler pipes I have seen have the inlet on the top, but the injen is under the intake. I cant get the intake tube to match up to the bypass valve placement. Anybody have any pics of it installed? Thanks for the help.

Ah I'd misread thinking you had our IC piping, my mistake It would be a lot easier if the BOV inlet nipple was on the bottom of the piping as in our stock battery UICP, but if you still have the factory BOV inlet tubing you should be able to make the connection between the two. It's usually easiest if you mount the BOV discharge directly to the intake, but in this case where it's the taller than stock bodied TurboXS valve with a recirc nipple on the bottom of the intake that may be more difficult.

If you don't have the stock BOV inlet hose or it won't fit, the best bet for a custom hose with the bends and angles you'd need would be to go to your local auto parts store and look through their vehicle specific radiator hose selection. Every time I've gone for a "custom" recirc hose I've found one that fits almost perfectly. If you want something a bit cleaner, Spectre makes a flexible radiator hose kit that is polished stainless

Good luck with the install and if I can help with anything else let me know, the bay is looking great already!!

So I can just take a rubber hose and go from the bypass valve to the intake tube since they do not match up? I am getting tuned on monday and can't wait to drive the beast! This intake thing is the only thing holding me up. ineedparts, I am running a gt3076r turbo. Thanks Tom!

Josh,
Yes you just need to make a connection between the two. It won't necessarily matter with what (rubber hose works great), because the discharge (or inlet) hosing doesn't experience enough pressure to require reinforced silicone which is why Mitsubishi set it up with a rubber hose factory.

Awesome, Ill have to find a rubber hose somewhere local. I hope home depot or autozone carries it. Thanks for your help Tom, I appreciate it. Hopefully I have everything else figured out.

Actually, I still cant figure out the orientation of the intake. Is the 4in to 3in coupler supposed to be a 45 degree angle coupler? Any pics of an injen intake installed with this coupler, that would make it much easier?

Here is what the intake tube looks like, it has harsher bends then most other intakes, and with a 45 degree coupler, I dont see how it works.
