Here's a good tip for that 'emergency' oil filter removal. (yeah, we've all gotten to the point where you've crunched the b*stard trying to get it off with a filter wrench, but it still won't budge: Anyway, take a screwdriver and pierce it right through one side of the filter and out the other side. Now you have a big lever arm to crank that sucker off with. Of course, this only works if you have enough access to the filter area (dunno about the evo, as I've never had trouble on that car). Just FYI.
good stuff... so even the MR has the sending unit as the drainplug... Has anyone looked at 42 draft's kit? That's also where they place the sending unit for oil temp. I thought that was awkward at first, but if the MR comes like that in stock form, I guess it's not so bad...
