anyway i hate the front triangle and am getting a gialla front to get rid of it. i hate the chrome rear triangle so i got rid of that too. i have a little 1 inch tri-diamond that i will put on front bumper in the future; here is the rear though:

I got the rear diamond from mitsu, it's a 99 eclipse diamond. i hat to cut off the little knobies though, and i had to mount it a little higher cause it didn't follow the curve of the trunk like the original.

 

Think I've said it before but I like the triangle...the IX's look too much like an Accord.

 

evo 9 doesnt have that triangle...atleast thats whats in some vids

 

Who said this thread was about the future evo 9. This thread is about someone not likeing the triangle piece on the front. someone only mentioned the evo 9 because so far it looks like they will not be putting it on.

 

I put this topic on the future section because what I want from EVO was not in the current model 8.
I tried to force myself liking the triangle so I can buy the MR but doesn’t work because the classic EVO look has just been with me and that’s what I like about the look of EVO since EVO V. Yes I can modify the bumper to remove the triangle but I will shoot myself if the IX comes out without it as factory spec. Reason Just like why many 911 guys skip the 996 because of the teardrop headlight.

 

Oh man I love the triangle in the front of the EVO8! You guy are crazy!

What I like even more is the back of the EVO9. God please make this part transferrable to the EVO8!
