yeah ive owned both and you may as well get an s13, s14,14a or s15 for drifting, itll do it easier, cheaper, more reliably and you can still leave your beautiful EVO intact i mean sheesh...the rear diff and ACD are not sized / setup to transfer 100% and I dont think you can transmit more than a fixed amount to the rear in the evo ACD setup, you can move more to the front (ie subtract from rear) and back but not beyond a certain point and I thought that was mechanically limited somewhat to a max rear % (ie 50)

evo 4wd rocks god dont take it away from it, it turns in so HARD you would gain nothing from RWD in terms of handling and youd just make it plain dangerous etc lol

You guys know with proper suspension setup you can make an evo drift very easily. ACD Tuning can make this thing drift even more.

I can make my 9 mr drift easily with stock springs by doing a sharp left then right floored. If you want to compete then sure RWD is the **** for drift but if you want to screw around once in a while and toss the rear of your car around, dont ruin your evo by converting it to rwd. I am sure you can go to robi and muller and tell them you want your car setup to oversteer and they would ablige. After they give up trying to talk some sense into you that is.

It serves no purpose whatsoever to convert an Evo to RWD. There are so many cars that do the RWD thing so much better, you know, because they are designed around BEING RWD. It's just people who want to do something different and unique. Doing something just to say you were the first to do it is stupid to me if it has no real advantage...

other than the cool factor, it's pointless for a common driver to convert.
